Under both of my seats I have a black wire coming from the floor and connecting to a yellowish box that doesn't seem to be connected to anything else?

I have a picture, but cant post it...lol Does anyone know what it is for?

airbag wire, do not disconnect as you will get the airbag warning light and you will have to reset at the dealers.

It might be part of the airbag system, the passager seat has a occupancy sensor, but I am not sure about the driver side.

If you disconnect the battery before fiddling with any of the electronics, it will prevent error codes from being generated.

haha,

Thanks guys, have been wondering about that for a while.

Will keep disconnecting the battery in mind when I install my DVD Navigation System. That's going to take some work.
