Hi guys!

Im not to clued up about this , I have never had any of my cars done either. But my friend has asked me about this for his car so im a little curious now.

What exactly is this? Do they just wash and super clean the outside?

Do they clean the inside as well? Does it leave the interior in a nice matt finish , as when the car was new? Or do they use that glossy stuff for the inside that makes it shine. I hate that glossy stuff.
Do they clean the leather? I know our cars come with a coating on the leather , How would it be treated with that coating on it?

And the engine bay? Is that cleaned as well? Do detailers spray that temporary black plastic sort of spray on the black bits? I really hate those sprays . I feel it speeds up the greying of the plastic for some reason. I like my car to be matt all over.

Lastly , Are there any good detailers in Durban ?

Thanks guys! for responses !

A super clean of note. Main thing you get (depending on what you choose/want) is paint correction. Generally your car gets properly compounded/polished with a DA polisher(gets rid of swirl marks, small scratches and makes your paint amazing. If maintained properly after detailing your car will keep looking great for quite a while. Some guys on the forum are getting amazing results. Crazy detailer has been helping me with products etc. Learned a lot in the last few months
