What did you do on your car today?

Had new tyres fitted. Apparently I should be pleased with 37000km on the set. O well, sacrifices must be made for shear driving pleasure

(yesterday actually :-> )

Proper leather clean. Used Megs leather and vinyl cleaner, microfiber sponges, and a soft brush. Took around 3 hours, but results are well worth it.

I did the doors, both front seats, centre console and all the various grey plastic bits. Interior as a whole looks much lighter.

With the seats clean the wear-and-tear on the piping does show much more clearly, so restoring them will be my next little project.

Replaced eccentric shaft sensor seals on the 7-er (N62TU). Oil was leaking through the seals. Checked the insides of the plugs but luckily found them to be clean.

on my 95 e36 325i.Replaced:
Control arms
Inner and outer ball joints
Rackends and tierod ends
Swaybar endlinks
Poly control arm bushed.

Just did the alignment(closer to m3 spec on the front due to 17" and slightly lowered springs)
currently at 0.4mm positive toe up front. The car feels much tighter and the steering response is much better.
Also I'm hoping to have better tyre life.

Really simple and did all the work myself. It was really a worthwhile procedure. Now for a good mountain pass
