Finished fabrication a heat shield for a CAI. There's so many diy's on the net hence no write up. Neway I moulded some cardboard to shape(strengthened that with masking tape and steel wire). Then I moulded some 1.5 mm perspex to the shape of the cardboard. Finally I glued insertion rubber to both sides. The whole project cost me 50 bucks. I only bought the silicone adapter piece to fit the MAF. All the other materials(and fabrication) I was able to source at work

It does a decent job of keeping the heat away and she screams like a donkey pig having an orgasm......fuel consumption suffered due to this.

Fitted a Shiftech Short Shift Kit in my E92 M3. Wow... changing gears makes me feel cooler now. LOL. Great feel, throw is shorter and more precise, shifter sits lower - top upgrade. Installation: done on a hoist - removed the exhaust and gearbox mounting bracket - then dropped the whole shift unit and assembled the new one on a bench. Took about 2 hours. Now i just want to get a nice aluminum shift knob with good weight on it.

Fitted gloss black kidneys to the E36, and a UUC clutch stop. Have grinded into 3rd gear no less than 3 times already. :) Takes some getting used to!
