Replaced the brittle and disintegrating vacuum lines to the resonator and the vacuum pump with high-performance silicone lines. A pity that they are hidden beneath the vanity panels in the engine bay since they are cobalt blue in color!

Not exactly doing something ON my car but something FOR my car. Basically, for the last two months I've been agonizing over the possibility of hail hitting us and I don't have enough undercover parking for all the cars. Every time I see dark clouds in the horizon, I either go to the local garage or, more recently, end up parking one of my cars at my parents place for a few weeks.

Needless to say, this is hardly convenient, so I spent the last 3 days putting up a double carport.

This now means that I can tune the hail this

It also means that I have place for another car. Maybe I will take up Andy on his M3 :rollsmile:

hahaha I had a good laugh
nice work!

Nice one!

I really need to invest in carports. What did the double port cost you in total?

Not something I've done on my car today, nor am I going to be doing it myself, but the 5er finally goes in tomorrow for the accident damage repairs as all the parts have finally arrived.

I decided to give the e92 some loving today, since it recently celebrated a milestone :tiptoe:

I know most fanatics are not big fans of 4 cylinder engines, but this baby has been serving me well and I am approaching my third year with car still running well

Today I went to HQ PTA North and did the following:
- Changed disks and pads
- Fitted in new front tires (Bridgestone's)
- Wheel-alignment (both rear and front wheels were slightly out)

Damn new brakes look sweet!
My tyres were the same on mine. Negative chamber in the rear eats tyres, but sticks in the corners. You notice the fronts, but dont often get under your car to check the inside of your rears.
Good to see her being properly looked after.

Completely finished my front right brake pad at the Killarney track day today. :) Gonna take a look at the front callipers/slides tomorrow and see what happened, probably got a lot of cleaning to do, otherwise if it's sinister I've got some E46 hardware waiting to go in. :mmm:
