What did you do on your car today?

Cleaned the 7ers wheels. FML! 8 years of caked on dirt and tar and god knows what else. Had to do each wheel twice and the fronts are still not perfect. Ran out of Sonax Extreme, and after 3 hours I was ready to call it a day. Will do round two next year :)

And getting new tyres this week...hopefully.

Now that is true love. I have washed the inside of my wheels, usually when I have to take them off to change disc pads. But I have never put in this amount of effort to make them look new again. I salute you!

Great feeling once it's done right.

Replaced the leaky intake manifold gaskets on my e36. What a Kak job it is getting the wiring harness out of the way for one silly nut

. cleaned the idle control valve and checked the CPS resistance value while I was down there.

There's something seriously wrong with either your tyre or your mag if you need that amount of weights to balance it.

But really excellent result getting them cleaned up. I've never been inclined to spend that kind of time cleaning the inside of mags!

Lol I got them that way but I agree. That tyre has a bubble in it so getting new ones this week. I have a full size spare in so if it turns out to be the mag Ill swap them out.

Not exactly doing something ON my car but something FOR my car. Basically, for the last two months I've been agonizing over the possibility of hail hitting us and I don't have enough undercover parking for all the cars. Every time I see dark clouds in the horizon, I either go to the local garage or, more recently, end up parking one of my cars at my parents place for a few weeks.

Needless to say, this is hardly convenient, so I spent the last 3 days putting up a double carport.

This now means that I can tune the hail this

It also means that I have place for another car. Maybe I will take up Andy on his M3 :rollsmile:

Having the new shoes fitted now. They just balanced this particular rim and it only required 4 weights compared to the multitude it had on. Runs perfectly round.

Removed the water pump. And no dealership was opened today to get a replacement.
So basically the 330i is a no runner currently :RedNo:

Got tired of plastidipped grills looking dull and turning white. Vsomai hooked me up with a set of gloss black kidney grills. Much better. I fitted them just now.

I'm also a really big fan of the gloss look, it freshens up the look and makes the car look a lot less dated. All black trim on my car, inside and out, is gloss black

Washed, polished and waxed!! Thanks to Crazy Detailer for such great products and speedy service.

She got new rims for Christmas and I just got them wrapped in some new rubber a few days ago. Ditched the run flats and couldn't be happier. Way better ride/grip on crappy roads. Feels faster on pull away, less slip/spin. Might just be my butt dyno or the quality of the old run flats. Either way car is transformed with normal tyres.

Finally managed to code the remote unlocking to unlock all the doors, not just the driver one. Coded some misc features to the SGM and CIM modules too :) NCSExpert FTW!
