Drilled a hole in my steering column to lube the lower bearing. My steering is as light as a feather again. Non PS.

Took a quick drive ... and ripped out a fender liner at 250kph. HECTIC! Some reinforcing needed on the next set.

Went just a little off-road. In Clarens on honeymoon.

Removed the towbar on my car. Really an eyesore on an Mpack car. Funny thing is this towbar seems quite fancy - there was even some electronics that came with it. But as all these kinda additions go, it was installed by butchers on the electrical side. So I removed all their splices, soldered and heat shrunk all the wires again and wrapped it all in fibre tape.

I also put back the 17" wheels the car came with. I'll be dropping the 18's off at Hi Tech tomorrow. I also got a ver good deal on Yokohama tyres yesterday so I'm itching to get the rims sorted and have the tyres fitted.

Tomorrow I'm getting gloss black kidneys for the car so itching to get those fitted!

Started reconditioning the outside chrome trim. 1200 grit sandpaper, spray bottle, chrome polish and LOTS of elbow grease. The first photo is of the left side, rear door which is not yet done, the second photo is the completed right rear door.

For the last few days the climate control would stop blowing air through the vents. It would start, run, and then stop...all while the climate panel was operating normally. Read the codes with INPA which showed error 9C57 Blower Output Stage - Signal or value above threshold. Removed the blower motor today, gave it a proper cleaning inside and out with carb cleaner and compressed air. The fluid that came out was disgusting looking. Replaced it, and ran the climate control for 10 minutes with no problems whatsoever. Took me 45 minutes start to finish.
