Ok well not that I am a street racer, or a cafe racer, i just suffer from mild Pole-positon-Syndrome. (for the occasional embarrassing moments----you know the type with their Golfs and the “vasberade” expressions on their faces
Obviously leave Porches’ and Ferrari and Lambo for my 1200 GS to eat, but I am sure C55 AMG and perhaps the old M3 ext. might be a bit slower ? I don’t want to open a can of worms and get unrealistic dreams (Like on the Audi forum where a dude with a 2l turbo reckons he gave a Lumina stick all the way---i am sure the Lumina was parked or something)
Tell me the way it is...do and dont !

My friend with a SLK 63 AMG already agreed to a private liitle robot to robot one day.....will see how it goes, I will first learn the launch control...

Agree with Twins. Have a go, win lose or draw.

However, as far as the Mercs go:- Not aware of any SLK63s having been sold yet although Merc is expected to release one this year. If your mate's car is a CLK63, you'll probably lose. Definitely DO NOT expect to keep up with an E55 or CLS55. You'll get smacked good and proper. Pretty sure that a C63 will be quicker than you as well even up on the reef (if thats where you're situated). You should be a quicker than an E46 M3 and an SLK55 at altitude.

i would take on anything- there is nothing wrong with coming second:)
just be safe, you dont want a "laatjie" adding racing stripes to your bumper or door.

Yeh stock u got no chance against an e55 but with some good fuel software and downpipes its bye bye e55 all the way, even on top!

A bold claim indeed[/i] ... I ran a 335 with software (223wkw/469nm at Xcede Dyno Day) against a stock E55 - pretty tight up to about 110km (with the 335 marginally ahead) but from there it was no contest - the E55 was much too strong. I'm guessing you're gonna need to add a tad more than downpipes to the mix to keep up with the E55, let alone support your claim of "... bye bye e55 all the way, even on top ..."

Hmmm from personal experience I have to disagree
Just ran my mates e55 from the line to 260km I was about a car infront with my current setup

Its a drivers game not a car game robot to robot! that split second some one beats on the launch makes a huge difference in who wins! To honestly see which is faster you need a track and christmas tree lights!

I can almost believe that a 2.0l audi smacked a lumina! The new 2" audi's has the same motor as the golf 6 GTI and with some mods its a demon! Luminas are slow as shit!

I did run the e55 with all my bolt on accept downpipes and on map2 , 2nd gear roll I only held him up to 3rd when I hit 4th gear he pulls away like MAD!
I did the downpipes and ran map7 ,all I can say is my mate with the e55 was impressed and...
N54 FTW!!!
