2012 BMW Fanatics Calendar

This thread is for fanatics to post their submissions for the Western Cape Calendar.

Rules:

1. Only one photo may be submitted per fanatic.
2. Photo's posted must have an original minimum resolution of 1000x (in other words make sure you have the high resolution version available.
3. Provide a short blurb on your car. Make, model, year and the cars name as well as mods. If you wish you can include something interesting for us to include in the Calendar.
4. Please refrain from spamming and commenting on submitted pictures.

2002 E36/8 BMW MCoupe
One of 35 brought into South Africa. Due to the poor sales of the S50 MCoupe, BMW South Africa decided to fit a suite of AC Schnitzer accessories at no extra charge to help shift them. The extras included exhaust, short-shift kit, springs and mags. Its quirky "shooting brake" design has polarized BMW fans for over a decade, you either hate it or you love it. The result of after hours tinkering by BMW's M division under the direction of Burkhard Göschel the MCoupe almost did not make it to production. A total of 1139 S54s were made of which only 168 were Euro RHD, making it one of the rarer modern BMWs. The picture was taken at Killarney Racetrack on a Streetcar Trackday in June.
