Fastest N54 no gas in the states is a 11.5 which has been run with a manual and a auto but that's in the States.

Yeah, that's the only manual in the top 10 & it belongs to a tuning house, not a customer.

It shows the manual is just as capable.

The longer gears on my car is hampering my 60ft by .2seconds and the in gear G's have stayed the same so I am going back to a 3.46.

Ok so you saying shorter gears are better? Well auto has much shorter gearing than a manual. So I guess you saying an auto X35 is better suited for drag racing than a manual?

I would think shorter is better than what I got but I am not sure what to short is. A 3.85 diff is too short. I would say that for drag racing on a turbo car the auto is better than the manual due to the no boost loss shifts.

The CDV is a major problem though and I can imagine the frustration, have you tried the modified ones.

Yeah tried all that & found out the hard way it has nothing to do with the clutch.

Yeah I feel you, but I wouldn't use Shiv's personal car as an indication of what a normal customer will run. Being a shop car, they can push it to the limit & beyond. A normal customer wouldn't get that kind of map, I don't think.

Thanks guys ,I only had one run and then the rain started and racing was stoped.
Im happy that i did a 12.7 and im sure I will be able to drop my times.

With a bit of practice at the track you will get great times. Its quite lonely at the low 12's at the moment.

Its making just short of 400whp in race trim. The 335kw was on flywheel during a exhibition run. Just remember the mods alone do not add power you got to increase boost as you modify. I am sure I will break the 400whp at the coast easily. My exit speed up here is 189 on some runs.

just over 1 bar

From 1 bar to 1.1bar the cars makes a extra 25whp so assuming you got 1.05bar you should be making in the region of 350whp or so. Does that sound right?

Im not sure if that rights i dont know how boost works ,if i make 350whp i think i will be happy.what would i need to boost the car to 1.3bar and what power should i get,Will it be safe ?Water meth is on the list next but im not sure which system to go for and how safe it is.

If you boost 1.1 bar you should be making 350 comfortably. I wouldn't go higher than that without race fuel or meth. For 1.3 bar if someone can tune this for you you will need race and meth, I do not advise to run this boost on daily basis if you utilizing full power continuously as it will decrease the life span of the turbos. In terms of the water meth its not the safest thing to have on the car. I know a few cars that have had minor fires with it. The best thing is to discuss the meth kit with who is fitting it and then way the pros and cons. We have had discussions on this on the board just do a search.
