I'm looking to buy a series 3 e12 518i. I'm seeing the car over the weekend, so the condition will be the deciding factor.

I love classic cars. I have owned a Renault 5 (first car), a DKW 1000S, and currently have two cars with the :mmm: three pointed star. One is a 1969 230 and the other a 1993 220E.

I have always wanted an e12, and it looks like I'm going to get one. Then, on my wishlist is the e28 535i. I know of one that is spotless but the owner won't sell :thinking:

I hope to learn a lot about the modern BM's... I don't know much about them. Being an IT person, I don't trust computers in cars...
