Hi all!

Last week I decided to sell the wife's Fortuner and get a 135i M Sport DCT, couldn't believe the go of this little car, has been around 3 years since we last owned a BMW, we owned around 6 of them over the years and they have just been good to us.:praise:

Now my worry is to have this as the wife's daily runner, would rather have it all to myself:rollsmile:

I also own a MPS MK2 and used to think it was quite fast, looks like i will have to look out for something new, no way i'm going to catch the wife in the 135.

Cheers - Werner

I know how you feel! At one stage my girl had a bigger, faster, more luxurious car than mine... Was TERRIBLE!

Hi. Nice man. Do you have the new hatchback 135i M or the coupe? I have a performance edition 135i DCT coupe. Absolutely love it. I suppose you have the coupe since the hatchbacks don't come in DCT but an 8 speed auto which is just as good. Safe driving to you and your wife.

It was exactly my thought:rollsmile:, a nice M3 but will first have to wait on that one, MPS not even a year under finance, will loose dearly.

At the end of the day the MPS is not a bad car, very good for what it is, but even heavier on fuel than the 135. I would have easily tried to take on 135 and 335's, that was before I knew better. The fastest BMW I have owned previously was 330i and I thought it was magic 6 or 7 years ago.

I think BMW is going places with their achievements....

Morning,

When I started looking for a car to buy about a year ago I was looking at Focus ST,GTi and MPS, the price range where very similar.

One just knows when driving a car what feeling or response you want to experience and at that moment the MPS did it for me.

I think the biggest drawback of the MPS is keeping the power on the road, gear changes have to be perfectly timed on the right revs, get all this right and the MPS will put a pleasant smile on your face as one does not expect this from a Mazda, I would not have thought there is anything under the hood of a MPS, and torque steer is really not bad, actually feels like pleasant feedback, just not that great when I'm turning and flooring it, I want to turn and the MPS wants to go straight.:=):

Cheers...
