Weird miss when im on the freeway

Hey all, hope you all had a great new years and Xmas!

For about the last month or so whenever my car hits about 120km/h or 130km/h on the freeway there is a slight miss or jerk. Is that some kind of electrical govener kicking in or something?

Any help would be great!

At lower gears, is it smooth all through the rev range ?

There is no speed/rev restrictor at that speed

check what your rev range is at that speed, and then try other gears at the same revs to see if it does the same thing. Might be a faulty coil??

Mine is an auto so im in 5th when it happens

does your Rev counter drop to 1kRPM and then return to normal? Does your Oil light come on?

What car is this?

No lights come on or anything

does not drop any revs just gives a slight jerk

Okay, maybe fuel issues.

First thing is to have it diagnosed. If no code, then you'll probably have to wait till it does, or be proactive. But the question is: where do you start looking!? :dunno:
