Weighing cars in Cape Town.

Anyone know where in Cape Town I can have my car weighed?

Aside from the Vissershok weighbridge.
I don't want to attract attention to my raucous car. May get a ticket at the weighbridge...:)

Go to the nearest gym, and tell them you have a problem with weight, :mmm:
then tell them they must weigh both you, and your car, seeing that your weight influances your cars performance. :hammerhead:
Then they can work out a diet plan for both you and your car, so you lose weight, and your car loses weight, :)
therefore a boost in your confidence, and your rides performance, Win-Win
...and if they laugh at you then "Skiet die bliksems!!"

If you know roughly the expected weight of the car, then get a scale that can read at least a quarter of that weight. Then proceed to put the car on a level surface and lift the car one wheel at a time, placing the scale under each wheel and lowering the full weight of the car onto the scale. Afterwards, add the 4 readings together and you have the total weight.

Awful lot of trouble, so the scrapyard might be easier, but they are usually accurate only up to 20kg increments.
