Water seaping through the pulleys

Hi all I have a e90 320d auto and I took my wife to work yesterday and saw a little bit of steam coming from the bay. And had a look and when I got home the radiator light came On. The radiator reservoir was empty. While I filled it up I saw water forming under the pulleys. What could be the problem? Where can I take it in Northcliff or close to diagnose.

Definitely a water pump.

What the guys are trying to say is, get the car towed to the mechanic and have your car fixed before you drive it again. The water pump is a critical part of the cooling system. Driving the car with a failed pump could cost you an engine. Don't take a risk by driving the car.

Quick tip: if the car is insured you may be able to get you insurance to pay for the tow. Most companies will give their clients one or two free tows a year in the event of a breakdown or accident, usually only to the nearest accredited repair shop/dealer. If this applies to you it's worth the call, at least.
