Water/Meth turbulence in my boot

Was bored and decided to do a quick video of the water/meth turbulence that happens in the boot during varied driving.

A couple of lessons:
1. Tank must be properly mounted to withstand the hectic movement in the boot. The squeaks you hear come from the nitrous bottles on the left hand side...:=):
2. If the water/meth level becomes too low due to the constant sloshing the low level float switch may pick-up air and communicate wrong readings to the flow sensor.
3. If tank is not properly closed it will leak all over your boot carpet.

Couldn't you integrate some sort of baffle system in the tank?

Just a thought?

Would love a closer look at the car on next ct run.....

This particular tank has a baffle section. The pump rests on it and the pick-up tube is tapped into it. But air pick up is still possible if levels drop very low. My tank will never run empty because i regularly check for a top-up.

Hmmmm, me thinks of a reserve loop back system to be sorting that problem, I'll see, if you want, if I can get hold of a buddy of mine he designs these sort of tanks and so on. I'm sure the principle is the same.

Your buddy has just gotten another buddy.

I have three summer projects:
1. A new exhaust design for my car and off with the mufflers.
2. A new meth tank design. I have some design concepts already. Time for your buddy and i to put our heads together.
3. Waiting for the new M3 to be launched. I will travel wherever to go and view this car.

Thx.
Because the JB4 controls your flow it does not need a flow sensor or float switch.

I use an external controller CMGS gauge and need the additional failsafes.
