Please assist. I am experiencing strange this with my car.
Firstly, I haven't been driving my car lately and for some reason the battery is flat in 3 days. So something is drawing power. And one of my work colleagues pushing car out of garage and back in at the end of the day.

When I do get a chance to drive it, I find the steering wheel to be off centre. Quarter turn to the right. Following week it was a quarter turn out on the left.

I do not know the cause of this but could it be the teeth/gear/splines on rack is damage.

Should I just replace rack or do I have it refurbished as I noticed it has a leak?

not sure about your rack issue...

but how old is the battery? it might just need to be replaced.

if the battery tests out ok, then you could put a multi-meter onto the battery leads while its connected and check for current draw. then get someone to pull fuses one at a time to see if any big drops happen.

i have heard that the final stage resistor for the blower motor chews current when its KO'd...but i havent had this issue yet personally.
