Wanted: Angel Eye Ballast

Its like someone is sending bad sh!t to my car! :argh:

replaced the bracket of the spotlight which some tried to steal!
From one issue to the next :cry:

I need a ballast for my two angels on the one lamp... my one JUST fuse within an 1 hour of replacing the right spot bracket.

so who has a broken set off angels? or will china town have?

I suppose its the after market ccfl angels. I had the same issue on my e46 back in the days. I found a solution. You can use the ballast that the gaming guys use for the ccfl lights In thier pc systems. It works perfectly. You just need to find a dual ccfl light set. Then all you do is use the ballast and seal it up with either silicone or insulation tape.

I might have a set lying around but ill have to check when I get time

thats exactly what i did! and works like a bomb! Just make absolutely sure that you insulate the components really good. i opened the black box and completely filled it up with sillicone, then inserted the circut board and made sure everything was submerged in the sillicone so much so that the sillicone started to ooze out the sides and then put some more sillicone on the lid of that black box and sealed it up with electrical tape. also i ditched the small clips on the end of the wires and rather soldered them directly and can confirm that 3 years later i have had absolutley no problems at all!

Jip it seems they are made of better qaulity the ones from the PC shop.

I called so many places

If I don't come right today I am ordering it online...

I called so many places

If I don't come right today I am ordering it online...

I have them for 180 each

Have you managed to find a ballast ?
