I get a call from my mechanic friend to come to his shop.

i walk in and don't see much, until i look up, a white E36 M3.
i look at the under carriage like a naughty boy looking up a skirt.
everything is original and clean.

look inside, everything is brand new, the rubbers are even way too tight, turn the key to see the odo and BAMMMM, 00009543km.
YES, that's less than 500km a year, and it is genuine.
one owner.

a true garage queen.

now the owner doesn't want me to go into any details about his car and i respect that, but all i can say is wow double WOW.

it was like going back 20 years and stepping into a brand new version of my car.

i didn't think there were any of these LOW LOW mileage examples still out there. just goes to show.

and NO it isn't for sale., i asked.

:thumbs::thumbs::inlove::inlove:

:praise::praise: It's super sweet to see one with such low mileage but damn I'm sure that car's begging to be driven!!!

The "garage queens" do exist.

The owners know exactly what they have and hold on to them for various reasons.

In a way its awesome that they are preserved, but like Gareth said, its a shame that they dont get used as intended.

I think this will be one of those experiences that will be etched into your brain for the rest of your life. Amazing.

That would fetch a very decent price if he were to sell it?

Haha probably a pretty penny more than that other guy wanted for his pimped out disaster of an M3 that was posted in the last week.

I think that this is a waste of a good car... 500km a year is not nearly enough. the rubbers and plastic will turn brittle, not to mention 'dry starting' because the oil has all drained into the sump

Apart from being extra clean, i wouldn't touch this car more than I would one that has 600,000km on the clock :thumbdo:

Agreed a waste, my boss has a 2004 E46 M3 with 11000km on the clock, he decided to sell it last month and advertised it for 320k and got allot of buyers phoning him, last week he said he is not selling because driving it again after 2 years made him fall inlove with it again.
