and tomorrow morning I am picking up a 2010 E90 325i
The torque on the 320d is nice, but short lived - I prefer the sound of the legendary straight 6 BMW engine

Picked up the 325 this morning. Nice smooth ride - nice sound of the 6 cylinder, but for overall driving, the torque on the 320d was instant. With the 325 you have to get the revs up, but Im not sorry that I made the switch.
Just a pitty that the Motorplan will not allow me to at least change the rear silencer - best sound ever. Spoke to BMW, and an approved sport silencer will be about R9000-00 excl labour, so for now I'll enjoy the silence
