VW Golf 1 Keihin Carburetor - where to buy

Hey Guys,

So maybe a fanatic can help me out here, apart from the 320D, I also have a 1994 vw golf 1 1.3l.

This car has given me great milleage and this is my very first car :inlove:

So now for the problem, my keihin carb on the golf is going. Mechanic and I have tried putting new carb kit, servicing it, but not coming right, leaking from the 2nd stage shaft. So I have decided to purchase a new keihin carb.

The problem is the vw stealers prices are crazy.

Does anyone know of any places where I can purchase a NEW Keihin Carb ?

I did find ace motorsport, they sell keihin carbs, hopefully someone here has some experience with them to let me know.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :thumbs: :ty:

You can try Goldwagen in Boksburg

I have heard the Goldwagen carbs are really bad! I even went to goldwagen centurion and was chatting to the staff there and they all said the goldwagen carb will give me endless problems.

The pirate carbs are crap, they dont last very long and start to leak, over fuel etc...

Stick with oem, rather get a second hand instead or get a webber carb

They work alot better
