Hi guys

I am proud to announce that the VPS Randburg Speed Shop is now open for business.

We will now be offering minor panel beating, scratch dent and stone chip repairs as well as resprays and touch ups going forward.

Some pics of our work (I will be posting seperate threads for these soon):

We will be running an opening special so keep an eye out :thumb:

Where do you mix the paint?
How do you ensure its a 100% match when blending it in?

Looks like good work from the pics

What would General Pricing be on Scratch repairs

Scratch repair will depend on how deep the scratch is as some may be able to be wetsanded and polished out while other may require the panel to be painted again. So the price will range from R250 to around R950.

Thank bud.

I use the vin number to get the colour code for the paint and then have the paint shop mix the paint. We also provide the shop with the filler flap to get the paint matched. We then use a spray out on a card to make sure the paint is matched under a halogen light before painting the panels.

We will try to avoid blending as far as possible but if we are required to blend into the adjacent panel (sometime old and new paint will not match 100%) then my painter has the knowledge and skill to make sure the blend is not noticable.
