So I just fitted my hybrid turbo on to my 2013 bmw f20 120d. She's running Great, still adapting and still a bit more tuning to do.

So I have been for a ride in this car last night , AMAZING car pulls strong on every gears,raise:

From take off you glued to the seat tradition is an issue but once
the new file is in this would not be that major

Edit : Car has not been on the dyno just yet , it's way too low to get onto the dyno so it will be raised soon and tested

Hi Guys, Just did a Hybrid Turbo upgrade on my F30 320D.. Noticeable difference in power at high RPM's but the car is struggling at low RPM's. The lag is getting to me also noticed the car is significantly heavier on fuel. Have you guys experienced the same when doing this upgrade?

I think the lag is caused by the larger,heavier compressor wheel that doesn't spool as easy as the stock one.

The car's mapping would need to be adjusted to accommodate the hybrid turbo.

New thread - While a necro is fun, a new one is for you and your problem/s
Hybrid - Who did it and what did they do/upgrade. Was it done on yours or bought secondhand etc etc.
Tune - nothing mentioned, did you get one done after, not at all or it still runs on a previous tune
The lag - more info in the 2 points above needed to get a sense, normally hybrids don't cause too much lag (if any) once you get software done for the hybrid. Logs would be better if you have any (not that I can read it but here are a couple of Einsteins on here that can).
What inlet are you running?
