Viper branch fitted to "topclub"s E36 325i

had the pleasure of "topclub" in the shop today.

Replaced the existing exhaust manifold with Viper performance exhaust branches today.
also touched up some minor leaks on the existing exhaust system

down side from our side is that we quoted an "approx" time of 3 hours to do the work, but the space available to work and the need to disconnect the steering shaft and aircon pipes to gain more access, made the job closer to 5 hours.....sorry that you had to wait a bit longer.

I had long chats with "topclub" between office duties, but we weren't to busy today, and I am sure he will give his impressions here as well.

It did take a bit longer than expected, but I had time especially for my car. I just want to thanku for ur excellent service and companionship while I was there yesterday. The car is sounding awesome, I do feel a difference higher up on the rev range, very happy, and I forgot to tell u that ur guy is good with his welding, good job, I will highly recommend u to all Fanatics
P.S. I forgot my invoice and ur pamphlets and my sweets there on ur couch, please let ur guys keep it aside for me, oh and thanks for putting TOPGEAR for me to watch while I waited :thumbs:

These were probably specific to the 325i which I believe do not have 02 sensors like the 328i.

YUP...no extra fittings for sensors on these branches

but

I am almost sure, that if we ask Abel at Viper performance exhaust, he will produce a set for the 328i with a fitting for the sensor

Well done Ralf. I really need to pay you a visit too for some work on both the cars. Mines for a decat and I suspect the exhaust on my wifes e36 is also leaking. I will have to make a special trip out there as i dont travel in that area... but i am determined not to take it elsewhere!
