Can someone here kindly assist me with getting the comments on a BMW I would like buy, or point me to a dealership that can do so.

I called a BMW dealership and they said they can't give me the info since I'm not buying the car through them.

You are going to struggle unless you know someone personally at the dealer and even then they have limited the visibility so you won't really know much more other than 'there is a comment'

I see a lot of the VIN decoders also aren't working anymore.

Surely the dealer / person you are buying it from can supply you with the Motorplan CIA printout?

At best, you can inquire which ARC carried out the repair, then call them directly and query the comment :thumbs:

If you serious about buying it, ask the owner to take it to a BMW dealership for a quality check, last i checked it costs around R1400. You'll find out all the details on the car and you also need to do this anyways to transfer motorplan onto your name

No worries, I got a friend of a friend to get me the info.

The car was advertised as accident free, but 3 accident repairs showed up on the comments. Motorplan is still intact, but that revelation left a bad taste in my mouth.
