Vibration damper need some info please??

Hi fanatics,
I have been told that my vibration damper as a play and it make this sqeeky sound when starting up and shutting down the motor .i have the E90 320d sports pack and I have been to Bruce Craig's in kensington , he quote me R2500 for a second hand part that comes off a E46 wish I think that's than a later model car than mine ...

My question to the guys with experience could I go second hand on this part ?and if yes should I rather try to get a E90 part ?

I have the car booked in at the steelers on Monday to have it checked out ...any idea what they charge for this part new plus fit at the steelers

Get a new one from Bmw. I think I paid about R4500. Then you have peace of mind. Also if its sqweaking now its going to fail soon.

Do not waste your time with a second hand one. Especially at R2500. You can get a new aftermarket which would be better than second hand.
