Hi guys,

I want to transport my car from JHB to DBN and back for the December holidays. Do you know of anyone that offers good service at competitive prices?

I'm assuming you have an M car as this is posted in the M Fanatics section.. Why do you not want to to drive the car..?

Call up Daytona Group and ask them to advise on car freight companies.
It is a specialised service and they know the best in the business.
I know that they helped a mate find a company that could freight a car from CPT to JHB.

Hi

I used Intercity Movers for my M car to Cape Town from JHB and then back. I had no issues or any damage to the car, the car also had exact mileage that I left it in Jhb with when I collected in Cape Town and the price wasn’t bad at all. I was overall happy with the service.

The one thing I always have to remind people is to lock the car so that infotainment switches off.

How much are you willing to pay.

You can go drop it at the train station as that would be the cheapest. Big ass car hauling companies i would not advise to use since generally the "we are not liable for any damages" kak. You would have to find either a smaller transporter (with proof of insurance) that does personalized transport, Ie door to door or the guys who haul the race cars around to do it. Eitherway it will not be what i call cheap. March i had my ML hauled up from Capetown and that was 7.5k when fuel was cheaper and worth every penny since it was from Clifton straight to my gate.

I think your car insurance will cover your car if it is being freighted. Open to correction.

Most will certainly. But them not accepting liability already means they don't hold themselves accountable for the staffs actions. Like smashing up the frontend offloading and then saying ah sorry ne.
