Vehicle history/Information

Just want to find out whether it is possible to get a vehicle's history if I only have the number plate?

If it is, how would I go about it?

Any BMW dealer should be able to provide you with motorplan history (if that's what you're after). However, some might give you a hassle if you can't prove ownership of the car.

Thought if I had the registration number, I could get some info prior to going to look at the cars - be prepared so to speak.

Why don't you PM Coisman. He might be able to help you with details regarding previous owners etc. You can then try to contact them to get some maintenance / accident details if any.
