Vanos line disconnected

Good day anybody who sees this. I have been having a few issues with my 2013 118i. The latest being the below faults. The mechanic checked for loosing wiring but all is in order there. Has anyone experienced something similar or maybe guide me as to where to start looking for solutions.

Any advise will be much appreciated.

Try swapping the intake and exhaust vanos solenoids, and see if the fault moves from the intake side to the exhaust side. If it moves, you probably have a dead solenoid.
