Hi,

My insurance have just asked me for a valuation certificate for each of my ///M's to insure them at their true value.

Where can I get these certificates?

Thanks in advance.

Go to the local dealership. Any of the salesman should be able to help you.
Wouldnt they just give your the standard book values?

Sounds like the dealer wants to give me a standard trade value. I am looking for the replacement value for my cars.

Try the BMW Car Club.

Do you have a contact person to try at the BMW car club?

They only have a fax number on their site and the contact us form did not receive a response in about a month.

Unfortunately not.

I haven’t ever needed a valuation certificate, but I have read and heard of people doing it through the BMW club.

Just take note that insurance companies will only accept an official valuation, which can only be issued by a dealership or an official car club

Can the Cape Town BMW car club do the same valuation or just the Gauteng Club?

Unfortunately they don’t, they refer to us in Gauteng!
