Chat to Sherwin from Xcede.
All you need to unleash HP from the V8M is
1) Map
2) Xpipe
Map alone on a V8M works. I personally know a few V8s that have map alone and the cars have run 12.9sec on the strip , so YES map alone works but i would suggest to go point 1 and 2 together to really see the difference.
You will be shocked at how the XPIPE works wonders on this car. I have driven and been in cars with these mods. Its shocking how small mods work when done CORRECTLY.
If you really want faster accerleration : DIFF ratio mods is what is required.
Im in the same boat as you and Im currently saving for a proper Xpipe then im going GTI hunting
On a side note , i have said it before and i will say it again , i really hope there are tuners out there that can actually give useful info to users. All i see is tuners selling products instead of offering advise.
The reason i suggest Sherwin from Xcede is cause of the great service and advise he offers over and above , he has owned E90 M3 and now E92 M3 Supercharged. The development of his software was done on his own cars before marketing it. For me thats KEY ! Its not software being tuned overseas etc its software being written specifically for you car right here in SA. I do agree there are other tuners that can do the same but i would highly suggest looking at aftersales services ( that what counts the most)
Example car out of the many they have done :
Video is a must watch , done at WRC Dyno and many will agree its no happy dyno so to say , so what you see is very realistic. (This is my mates car)
