My salesman is not as useful as yours. They're even giving me a hard time about the mobility kit🤦 Reckon it's a used car, whatever it comes with, it comes with. But at least they found a first aid kit for me.
If anyone's interested it's BMW Fourways. They're doing what needs to be done, but not going the extra mile I feel.....

Ah yes BMW Fourways - Best remembered for passing off previously written off vehicles as BMW approved...

If it is a BMW approved car it must come with the mobility kit or a spare wheel. This is a safety critical item in SA.

Wait hold on. Now you've got me worried. Coisman did a check for me and the car is clean, but it has had 3 previous owners(!)

Unlikely your car is one of these considering how much trouble they were in and the coverage it received, but it seems their attitude hasn't changed in terms of how they are treating you. Midrand and Bryanston treat you like royalty even if you're buying a pre-owned vehicle.

There's a story on here of a limited edition numbered mini. Was written off and ended up being repaired with no comments. It showed up at BMW Fourways as approved used. Devi went after them. It is a minefield dealing with dealers if not the lies then the kak treatment at times.

Yeah I feel a little better cos Coismans check came out clean. Please don't get me wrong - these guys are not treating me badly, but they aren't giving me the royal treatment either - I feel like if I didn't take the car they wouldn't be too upset lol. The used car manager did speak to me and said the salesman misunderstood, he was always going to replace the mobility kit. Anyway they said no to the rubber mats lol. So they're doing the bare minimum, nothing more. Maybe I'm asking too much or too self-important lol.

Did they at least give you a full tank of fuel and some BMW gifts?
On my old 320d, from Autobahn BMW, they gave me a huge Motorsport travel bag and a cap.
On my X3, from BMW Sandton, they gave me 2x Motorsport caps and a fancy X3 key ring.

So these guys make me laugh. I asked for a cargo net. They gave me another luggage divider net (413). So now I have 2 of those. Anyone know how much it's worth? I may as well sell it and get the net I want. I can't find anything online about a MRSP. (FYI salesman reckons they don't make those cargo nets anymore, which I think ia rubbish since @MR_Y got one lol)

Half a tank, an umbrella and a fancy thermos mug. Had to buy a keyring myself lol. Next time I will stick to BMW Ermelo where I normally get my cars from, but this time this car had exactly what I wanted and Ermelo couldn't get one with a similar spec.

Another question. In the front ashtray area, where the lighter is: mine has the little ashtray with the flip lid. Is there supposed to be another little cup next to it without a lid that fits into the bigger cup? My old X3 had 2 of these (so you could put smaller cups without them being loose. Hope this makes sense.

PS can I just say it's damned irritating that I have to check all this and dealers can't just do their damned jobs

Just the little ashtray is the only item there as standard.

@MR_Y When your connected drive subscriptions ended, were you still able to monitor the car (lights, locked or unlocked etc) and activate the hooter, ventilation etc? My 440 has these things as a permanent feature, no subscription renewal needed. The G01 X3 however wants a subscription. Now I need to figure out if I need to start another flight with BMW as to why those 2 services (connected drive and remote) are not active on the X3, or if that's how it's supposed to be. I've attached pics of my active services om the 440 vs the X3 (the ones that have unlimited term)

Thought I'd give an update on this. Seems nothing is unlimited on the G01 expect teleservices and emergency call. I'm a little annoyed though because my OTP lists it as included. So I'll wait for Black Friday and hope they have a 90% off on connected drive plus like they did last year. I hardly ever use it so I can't justify the cost at this point.
