Hi/Salaam Guys,

My buddy is selling his 2004 330i Manual Individual Sport.

It has 94000kms and just had a major service and dyno done at Rob Green.

Im thinking this is the one for me, but he wants R150k?

Do you guys think its reasonable or fair to try and bring his price down? or is it worth it.

And I know this guy, and the previous owner, VERY well looked after.

Colour is Scarab green, has to be seen!!!

Please advise my dear council

List of extras?

Even without knowing the answer to the above, 150k is optimistic. You should bargain that down.

Good luck to your friend .
R115K or thereabouts for this condition ,look at some R90K models on the internet and they are still looking nice .

100-110 is a bit low (if it's clean). Just take a scan through some of the 330's for sale, really high mileage and in horrible condition.

In that condition, I'd say a reasonable price is R120k to R130k.

There are a lot of (seemingly) good 330's for sale at around R100k - R110k.

Btw, that is an epic colour for that car.

Hi There,

Clean e46 330's are few are far between, especially 6 speeds with sport/individual packs.
I think paying upto R 135 000 is reasonable.
What can R135k get you? A polo vivo?
U getting a bullet proof car for that money and one that if properly cared for will go for a long time.
Just bear in mind what needs to be done on the car, at that mileage brake discs and pads will probably need to changed, I bet the fuel filter has never been replaced, condition of tyres? These items could add up and could be used as a bargaining factor in bringing the price down...

Oh, forgot to mention LCAB's will probably need to be replaced too...

Hope that helps.

Thanks/shukraan for all the advice so far. I know he just recently replaced all pads and discs and tyres.

Also replaced his vanos seals at robs

For about 150, you could get an E90 330i, without a sports package I assume? Comparing the two, I'd take the E46 since condition wise, both cars are pretty much the same.
