Hi guys..need help very urgently.

Was caught in heavy rain yesterday in Sandton area. Roads were flooded and i had to drice through some deep water to get home..Evertything on the car was fine when I got home..This morning my airxon stopped working and there is absolutely no air at all coming feom the vents! I chexked the aircon fuse and it was blown...replaced it but still nothing! Was planning to drive to cpt 2moro morning but with this problem i dont think i can...

Readimg the internet is says that the blower resistor or sometging like that is blown...is this an easy job or what?

Any help will be appreciated.

It could be the resistor. First I would check any other fuses related to the heating/aircon system. Could be more than one fuse that the system uses.

I suggest checking all fuses and electrical components from one end to the other as in a few days, something else might stop working.

That sucks man... Maybe something will dry out too... Park the car is the sun? Must be a relay/fuse which got soaked. Hindsight always sucks but take it from me. When you see deep water you turn around if you can.. hope it gets sorted

Update.

So after changing the blown aircon fuse it was still not working.I then took off the micro filter and turned the blower motor with a screwdriver manually a few times. Started the car and everything is working fine.

So glad i didnt take it to.the dealers for diagnoses.
