I doubt most of the stuff autostyle does anything, except maybe look cheap.

If I were you pm Gizmo, but I'm sure some of the other more knowledgeable can chip aswell.

a strut brace makes a difference
you can also try and get shock tops from a scrapyard from the a car like yours , then it just to see how to make the brace so that it clears the motor and the bonnet in the old days we used square tubing 10mm two next to each other

wouldnt it have been better to make the bracket a double bolt setup, seems like there would be flex on the connecting point

Good point made by Kabal.
I had the same dilemma. The strutbrace i have was meant for the 135. Still waiting for a brace for the 335. And to clear the brace over the stock airbox i had to make use of a double bolt set up. This works fine but reduces the front "grip & brace" in cornering.

When i remove the stock airbox and fit the brace without the double bolt the front "bracing" is amazing...the car goes right where you point it...the front wheels feel direct, strong and secure...

i bought this brace was lazy to make one to make this one more stiffer i can brace the mounting legs and add another bolt hole to make it solid as i suspect it does flex a bit but for me it works as is and my cars handling in front is good it only suffers from a loose ass under hard acceleration on the track
the racing dynamics brace on my buds box also have just 1 bolt for the bar
