Who's up for karting at Zwartkops in October?

Spoke to Jeff at Zwartkops. The first available weekend is 8th September 2012 and then only 10th Novemeber 2012 after 12:00. The BMW Car club has their karting event on the 10th of November in the morning. We can get the track after them, but I don't think that's a great idea. So we need a firm list with people for the 8th of September in the morning and we need to get payments done A.S.A.P. We need to pay a 50% deposit to finalise the booking.

Maybe we need to decide the following first:
F1 Sprint Race Event or Endurance?

F1 Sprint Race event

This is a event were we simulate a F1 event, 30 min total track time broken into three session.
Practice 10 min
Qualifying 10 min
Race 10 min
For this event you must use at least 10 of the 12 karts and the cost per kart R425.00.

Or

Endurance Race

This is the ideal team building event.
Using a minimum of 5 Karts for an hour allows you to have two to three drivers in a team giving each driver between 15 and 20 minutes of driving time. The teams will be given all the equipment required to structure and co-ordinate their own driver changes.
The aim of the event is to try and complete as many as possible laps within the allocated driving time.
Cost per kart per hour is R850.00 this includes electronic time keeping, marshals and exclusive use of the track for the duration of your event.

As you can see we need at least 10 people for either event. First wanted to see what the uptake would be like before booking a date. Either way it's at least R425 per person.

Let's see what dates they come back with. I know they got my mail as I got a read receipt this morning, but still no reply.

At least we now have the minimum of 10 people to get the even t going.

FerrariRSA - you cannot drop us again. As it stands you will get 30kg of ballast penalty for bailing at the last minute for the Randburg karting event.:rollsmile:
