Hi guys, Since fixing the turbo I started experiencing a new problem that I don't know how to fix. The vehicle struggles to start since a few days ago, you have to turn the ignition to have the glowplug kick in (DDE light on dash), and then a few more time before it starts. Also, when the car is on normal temperature the problems worsens. I suspect either the glowplug not getting warm enough or a faulty fuel pump? Any suggestions on where to look?

I removed the injectors completely, the tappet cover, exhaust, because it was my first time attempting to do this, I didn't know I should take the turbo out from the bottom. Where exactly is the glow plugs situated on the E46 320d?

Sounds like an injector problem - you won't even notice if none of the injectors are working on this car in SA.

Could also be a cam position sensor.

Any suggestions? I saw a writeup about cleaning the injectors on a site, quite detailed. Maybe I should try that.
