Currently riding on Pirelli P Zeros and want to replace them with the same but also got a good deal on Falken KK452 performance tyres. Any of the guys on here who has a set of these Falkens, what do you think of them?

Your comments will be greatly appreciated.

i have seen a bit if mixed opinions on the Falkens... if cost is not an issue between the two you cant go wrong with Pirelli ive loved them on every car ive put them on they just wear a bit quickly...

I was looking to replace my Conti SC3s with PZeros when the time comes. How much mileage did you do to wear them out in 6 months?

Did +/- 5000kms on them and the rear on mine wears evenly because my leg gets a little heavy due to the V10 begging for JUICE. :=):

The P Zeros are so soft that when the road is quite hot and if you take off gradually and plant it, you see two thick lines behind you. The rubber gets so soft that it sticks to the tar. This is what I experienced so far. Nice tyre though for high speeds and in the wet it is awesome.

I am gona try the Falkens to get a different feel cos I read some reviews and check with a few M3 drivers and they are like really pleased with this FK452 and they get much more mileage by hard driving and normal driving. [/b]

I must actually find out from my father in law - he has P Zero RFT's on his Z4 which came with the car. Seems to be lasting pretty well in terms of he's had the car for a year and a half now and uses it daily.

Ok...read this thread a bit too late, just fitted 245/40/18 P ZERO RFT's at Supa Quick R 3 300,00 a piece with balancing and fitting, looks ok, will let you'll know how's the ride to Durbs on Friday, I will keep an eye on the wear

Have put on the Falkens and must add and agree to Nasser comments. Its quite and the grip is just as the same as my Pzero's. Also like the thread patern on them as well. I am happy with the choice.

It does not look like import parts stock the KK452 anymore. I'll keep you guys posted if I find a place.

I asked my father in law last night what sort of mileage he has done with the Z4 with the P Zero's so far - seems to be about 32k km. And from the looks of it there is still roughly 50% tread left on the rears - front has more of course. So not too bad. He drives mostly sedately, but it is the 3.0 with the SMG gearbox, so he most definitely makes use of the power often.
