I have to agree it is a distraction at night only. However I feel if it distracts you then overtake the person. I say this cause I have two young children and only when I drive long distance they get so restless so I put dvd screen headrest in the car. They listen via the headphones while my wife and I listen to the radio. It keeps them quiet and its less distraction for me so I can keep my eye on the road. Also my small one can play games on it.
The thing is todays children are so into technology that they get bored easily then start to fight with each other.
Once I was driving at was approaching a road block. Lucky the power is from the cigrette lighter socket in the centre consol so I easily disconnected it before the road block.
But again I agree with the law. Hope the fine is not to high.
I think there are far more dangerous and non road worth taxis on the road and they should focus more on that.
