Turbo's for Dummies

Hi Guys,

Okay.... in layman's terms, what is the difference between the twin turbo and a twin scroll turbo?

I know that twin turbo means that it has two turbo's but how is each of the turbo's different to the twin-scroll turbo and what are the benefits of each?

While you also at it... what is difference between a supercharger and a turbo charger? I have a basic understanding of each but want to confirm it with the experts.

a twin scroll turbo is not two turbos like a twin turbo setup its just one wer the exhaust gas inlet has two passages into the housing, this gets you better low speed response and high end power. dif between a turbo an supercharger wel basically turbo runs off exhaust gases an supercharger is belt driven
