do not even think of using a chinese copy of these turbo's , you will be sorry.

original garrett turbo's can however be SERVICED with genuine garrett bearing kits, provided they are in running condition still. (and provided you do not disturb the vnt settings.)

if you have to ask how this is done, you should not be doing it though :)

He posted his DIY already. It's the only one on the forum.

I'll also be doing a DIY in the near future. I suspect a fault with my VNT mechanism. Will be servicing it with a fellow fanatic and give feedback on my 330d thread.
