Tuning Cape Town

Good day. I been researching some tuning options in Cape Town for my X3 2.0d n47 auto. I would like to improve torque and response. This is my daily and I do regular trips seeing clients so want to stay reliable and realistic with gains. What i have found celtic tuning....wizz auto replied and gave price for sw. Wolftegnick also replied and gave price on sw. I mention these cause they took trouble to respond. The others are renzport, excede, atm and qtec. Anyone used any of these guys and have experience with them. My goal is responsiveness and torque. So figures on paper dont mean much. How the car reaponded on road more important and of course improvement in fuel consumption. Ps. How does tge plug and play works. Are they any good? Is sw better because it uses the cars ecu.

ATM are the only guys I trust with my car. Speak to Damian, they did all my work and never have I received bad service from them. Running ATM on my car for a year and a half now and had no trouble
I daily drive my car and race it weekly

that's some serious power:praise:
Is your 330D an E90 or F30?

Wow. Is the jump that big from the E90? I wasnt expecting that. I wonder how the F30 compares side by side on the road to an E90 330d LCI?

The "jump" is amplified even more than the figures in real life (putting down the power) with the F30 8speed gearbox. :praise:

The twin-scroll turbo and 8speed gearbox gives the F30 a noticeable advantage, from my experience it can range from a 1-3 car gap, with the short rev range driver skill counts big time :fencelook:

I had a few runs with one a few weeks ago...guy didn't dyno yet so he dont know wht power his car is making.
all three runs he annihilated me...i'm pre lci though but he kept pulling away in each gear...easily a 10car gap.
I stood no chance....lol

Thats alot. Having said that, I tried my brother who had a E90 pre LCI with my LCI and I pull away quite easily and the gap keeps growing. Both the cars had software done. We also tried before I had the software done and the pre LCI had software. There was nothing to choose between the 2. Even quarter mile speeds were the same. There is a good difference form the pre LCI to the LCI. The LCI will be much closer. In terms of quarter mile speeds, my LCI after the software was 7 km higher. I think the 1-2 car gap sounds reasonable.
