Tuna Wars Results: A end of a Chapter with my 335

As some of you know the good folk at Gtiforum arranged a drag day yesterday. Its a end of a chapter for my 335 as it is the last time I will be running with the stock turbos. The ambient condition where terrible with a temp reaching 39 degrees and a head wind that surfers would climax over.
The competition was very stiff on both the km and the 400m

On the 1km the top four cars was as follows:

E30 328 Turbo SDP running in exhibition class ran a 275 wheelspinning the whole km.
Street Class 1km:
1. Steve Green E92 V8 Supercharged 265km/h
2. T Pack E90 V8 ESS Supercharged 252km/h
3. George Smooth E90 335i 248km/h

400m
1. T Pack E90 V8 ESS Supercharged 12.0
2. George Smooth E90 335i 12.30
3. Steve Green E92 V8 Supercharged 12.33

I am very happy with my result as I do no cooling before the race so no ice on the intake manifold or spraying water all over the place, the car is as you would meet it at traffic lights. The usual cars all had a major drop in times but my tune has proven that under any conditions it can get the same result which I thank Chip Logic for, there conservatism on certain tuning parameters has proven that the car can be consistant and reliable in all conditions.
Other cars worth mention was SOV's OPC pulling a 12.4 and Niron C63 with a 12.4 as well as a Corsa OPC of Precision doing a 13.0

I can answer that one now. Without increasing rail pressure you can make around 460whp. I am not sure if I want to increase the rail pressure as well and push for more power as the high pressure fuel pump is problematic as is. I also believe that a big change in rail pressure will change the injector spray pattern to much which might compromise the direct injections anti knock properties. Going to take baby steps.

As always George, your car never fails to impress. Well done. Time, effort and money well spent.
