Tree glue (gum)

Hi guys,
I've got plenty of this nasty nasty stuff all over my car. Is there any secrets out there to remove tree glue without scratching the paint work?

Clay bar then polish.

thanks anyway. got it removed with some elbow grease, need to go over with polish now.
which polish works the best for you guys. I want to try McGuiers...heard its top notch.
