Transfer box switch

Hi everyone, some of you may remember me and my e83 X3 2.0d. I run it on diesel and LPG.
Well, 445000 km down the road I decided to rebuild the motor and check everything. I was blown away with what I found. The bores still had the original hone marks from new!!!

The head had very little carbon as well.
Anyway I re-honed it, stuck in a new set of rings etc and it's going like a bomb.

Now to the crux. I open up my transfer box and it was nearly at its lifes end (clutch pack etc)
Now we all know what it costs to repair/replace parts in the Xfer box!!!
My next mission was to put a switch in the car to switch on and off the 4x4 system so I could sw it on and off as I need it. Well you know what happens when you disconnect anything on the xfer box, the dreaded three lights and no ABS!
Well I'm glad to tell you all, after many MANY hours of research and trial and error I've managed to sort it out. Now I can sw on and off my Xfer box without loosing any other system. The only light that comes on is the 4x4 light which is good.
I tried to upload pics but am unable at the mo, will try again

How does the LPG affect the performance and economy? What about the turbo, is that still the original. Also, how often do you change the oil? Btw, i also have a disconnected transfer case but mine is in need of a recon and as i am not interested in going off-road with it, it is not a problem. Have been driving like that for about seven months and 12k kms and there is no noticeable difference between the car being two wheel drive and four wheel drive on tar. Also, i do not have to worry about my tires front to rear being of uneven circumference (i have four new Michelins on at the moment) when the rears are worn down. I have stuck some insulation tape over the transfer case light led to hide the transfer case light. Can only faintly see it at night.

I have put up two pics from the dyno run. As for the 4x4, I use it extensively, Botswana etc
Red line is just diesel, Blue-diesel & LPG

That is quite an improvement with LPG! Is the LPG readily available and how much did it cost to install it and who did the installation? Is it just a single line into the fuel rail with a bottle/tank for the LPG and a switch over valve or is it much more involved than this?

It's basically a plug and play" system developed in Aussie. It has it's own comp box & picks up a feed from one of your injector wires. It also come with an EGT sensor and gas pressure sensor.Has it's own stand alone injector that you can mount anywhere with a pipe going to your air intake. It just uses normal LPG that you can buy at most garages etc.
