Just thought I would give some insight into this topic for those that may be sitting on the fence wondering whether to tune their x35i or not.
Will try keep this short without any technical jargon.
My car was recently returned to stock and it feels like it has lost its mojo. To say it is slow is probably unfair, as it is a 135i. But its so unresponsive in comparison to a lightly modded x35i. I forgot what it was like to drive my car in stock form, and on re-experiencing it, I felt it was my duty to advise fellow x35i drivers of the monster locked away in your stock car.
For those unsure whether to tune their cars or not, my advice is DO IT! Whether it is a BMW PP or JB4 or whatever, just find a way and do it. If you worried about your MP, save up for the BMW PP. If you willing to take the chance, or you not worried about the MP, then get a JB4. The difference is just incredible! (and this is an understatement).
Those running stock, you have no idea what you are missing out on! The sooner I get my car back up to spec, the better.
