To paint or not to paint?

My car has the standard issue stone chips on the front bumper, fenders, mirrors and bonnet. It has never been painted or touched up before. I admit, I am pedantic so what bothers me may not bother others, but the chips bother me!

My usual panelbeater who does an excellent job has quoted me R10k to spray all of the above. Colour is Glacier Green.

What do you fanatics think?

Leave the chips until it's time to sell ...

If you get it sorted now, it will be back to what it was in a few months time, given the condition of our highways :cursin: [/u]

10k sounds a bit steep imo.

I was quoted 6k to spray two doors, back fender and my bumpers. (Although this is on a white car).

Rick540 and I had this conversation just this morning. A really good spraypainter is more expensive, yes, but the end result is worth it to a fanatic.

Just a pity my expert (and I do not use the term lightly) is now out of business.
This is the problem with a very good spraypainter. They can't compete on price.
