What's your budget?

Looking at the list above, you're probably looking at around R70,000-R80,000 with shipping and duties for those items. Excluding labour.

i assume that you have been on M5/M6 board... perhaps there are some local owners there that could assist you if you don't come right here

mike??????????????? everything comes too - R46 000
Priced, including something thats not on that list.

vidracing wanna charge 2500 dollars for Meisterschaft sec 3 exhaust with oval pipes its on special including delivery. that is a good price if i'm not mistaken? but duties and tarrifs will kill me R7000!!!

The big ticket items are the exhausts and diffusers.

They take up huge amounts of space(plus weight for the exhaust) and at most of the times the air freight equals or exceeds the value of the items itself as a result. Then there are the local duties, I still don't know what method they use to work it out. I have had the same items charged with different rates - there was a big difference between the two prices on duties. Almost feels like a gamble each time you order.

I paid about R50,000 for my full titanium Akrapovic exhaust, R8000 ish for shipping and R18,000 duties for my M3 and that is before fitment.

You unfortunately, have got to pay to play on these cars :) There are not much local items that matches the quality of the products overseas. Going local doesn't do them justice.

Just my 2c.

The safe calculation is just to use 42% on the cost
Thats what you should hand over to customs, and includes clearance
Do this, and you will know if its in your budget or not
Fitment is the only cheap factor
Now is 50-70k justified for an exhaust and what it does.. Thats another question
