Hi guys

I'm kinds a newbie in this forum but I'm defnitely not new in the Bmw family. I currently own a e36 328i manual 95 model. I have been the owner since 2003 and restored this vehicle very well recently.

I do have one question thou... has anyone fitted a TNT exhaust system on a 328i? I made the mistake by fittin a dual cowley rear system and my vehicle is loud very loud althou the kids loves it... other people says it sound like a true bmw but driving it becomes a nightmare above 4000pm at constant speed.

Im shopping around for a good exhaust system from previous experience with bmw's i have two systems in mind.. TNT & Brospeed.. what do you guys think?

I would like a nice deep bmw tone which gets a bit louder when pushing my car but not too loud and also no drone...:praise::praise::rollsmile::rollsmile:

Nothing wrong with TNT, I have a system fitted on my Ute. Work is top quality.

Just make sure they fit a big enough center muffler, otherwise it will drone badly inside the car.

Hi Coisman

Im around the corner from TNT itself here in Johannesburg. I know them very well I just needed to weigh my options incase someone knows of advantages or disadvantages of certain brand name freeflow system for my car.

Its a standard E36 328i man 95model. I have not modified the motor or opened it from the time I bought it. When I bought it BMW had just replaced the motor with a brand new one. The vehicle has done 274K eversince. Engine has never been opened and is still very quiet. This car is almost 100% original. Everything except the aircon is still working. The current exhaust has what looks like branches and the middle box is quiet big stainless steel freeflow ( I dont the brand I got it with the car ). Dual system from front to back. If it is chipped then I wouldnt know because I have not fiddled by the ECU yet.

This baby runs like a dream.. powerfull for its age.. I regret putting the cowley rear box on.

Not true. I spoke to Tom the owner earlier today. They are still operating at full capacity, I will have to book my vehicle next week some time due to them being fully booked.

I drive pass the workshop every now and again...

I got quotes on a TNT complete system without branches and it is cheaper then brospeed's catback system. Brospeed is double the price for half the same system..
