I ordered a water pump pulley from BMW, to be collected this afternoon. No problem the guy says, will be there at 3:30.

Eish, has to come from the factory, 3 weeks... my entire day screwed, I could have made another plan somewhere else I am sure, tomorrow is a public holiday... so now what....

Anyhow, can't complain here in CT since my monthly Municipal account went down from R1800pm in the Northern Cape to less than R400pm here in CT...

I currently pay WRONGFULLY R1800 p/m water + R978 for rates and taxes + R600 odd for electricity.... I used to pay for EVERYTHING on a 1700m2 stand R1300 p/m... two blocks down the road. My stand now is 800m2.

The quality scene sucks when a company has systems in place but daily we have the same problems in maintenance and production .I did ISO 9000 in 1998 at SABS in Pretoria and in present company it is useless !!

Last year when visiting my kids in London i ordered a set of filters for my E39 530d on E-bay, at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon. The filters came from out of London somewhere upcountry, cannot remember the town/city. The next morning half past seven the doorbell rings and it is the postman with my filters!!!. My father pays a basic fee of R286 for phase 1 electricity on a prepaid meter for a business. On the local ridge times, the municipality states that tariff increase on phase 1 electricity is going up by 25% in July which will make it R360 odd rands.

When my dad went to pay for for the basic charge, they told him its R568. When he tried to explain the logic of maths of 286 + 25% gives you 357.50 Vusi started getting arrogant and told him all businesses must pay that fee.

The very next day I went to the Secunda Office and spoke to the accountant in finance by the name of Isaac, who helped me out by altering the rate from R568 to R357.50

After that my dad when back to Vusi to show him the slip and gave him a piece of his mind, the only thing Vusi did was smile like an imbecile but never utter one word.

To our black forum members, I apologize for the following racist remark, I mean no disrespect, I am colour blind, but I HATE the general black mentallity.

I looked at central fire station the other day, I lived there for a couple of years, that place looks like it belongs in frikken hillbrow (case in point). Its trashed, windows out, has not been painted in prob about 15 years, the guys use to maintain the stations.

None of this budget cut, crap, my dad was telling me that even in his days, brixton fire station, back then already there was no money, if you wanted your station painted, you go out and to it yourself, so the guys went and raised the money.

First thing that happened since the ANC took over all those years ago, the mentallity was under the fire men, "Eish, we are not maintance workers, we will outsource the work,"

That just pisses me off to no end, that work taught a sense of honour, pride, RESPECT, which is now all gone, none of that, its just handouts, and we demand, and that folks, you blame frikken goverment and more correctly the ANC for.

Apartheid was wrong, and a gross injustice to all, but at least under the white man we had core values, and they meant something.

Again, apologies to our hard working decent self respecting folk who happens to be black, I do not include you in this, to the rest, and the white ones as well who is just as bad, take some fscking pride and your work and everything will come right...

Thats right, we dont need much, accountability and pride in your work, the rest will follow.....
